Baby Makes 3

Baby Makes 3 is an innovative program designed to help you navigate the significant changes that come with the arrival of a new baby.

We provide a safe and inclusive space for you to explore important issues related to the transition to parenthood, including gender equality, societal expectations, and the unique experiences of each parent.

Through Baby Makes 3, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of these critical topics, and develop the skills and tools needed to communicate openly and honestly with your partner. Our previous evaluations have shown that participants experience positive shifts in their attitudes and beliefs and enjoy greater connection and communication with their co-parent.

There are two programs:

Baby Makes 3 Antenatal Education – to support parents with a new baby on the way. This is a 3-part program helping couples with a baby on the way maintain healthy relationships and learn what to expect during childbirth.  The sessions are delivered weekly by a qualified Midwife & Childbirth educator in partnership with experienced KEYS group facilitators.

Parents-to-be (any gestation) will learn:

  • What to expect during childbirth
  • How to set expectations with your family and friends
  • Baby-proofing their relationship.
  • Feeding a baby
  • What to expect in the early weeks with your new baby
  • Navigating birthing plans

There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions you may have during question time with a Qualified midwife and Childbirth educator.
